Some men of God are usually ‘mysterious’ beings, in the sense that their lives are not usually well known by people. So people simply enjoy the ministry of these men, and that’s it.

Apostle Joshua Selman is one of such men; he has a great follower-ship in Nigeria and beyond, as men usually are attracted to him and become subsequently attached to him once they listen to any of his message recordings. Men are designed to house God’s Presence(Walk with the Holy Spirit) and manifest same on the earth.

Some men have indeed pressed into that experience, and Apostle Joshua Selman is indeed one. The Presence of God he communicates is readily evident in his audio messages which has been blessing people the world over. Just a timeout with any of his audio messages will leave you inundated with the Presence of God.

Now when you see such men, wisdom demands that you do not just love their results or envy their results, but that you learn their ways. The truth is that every result you see in this life, be it in business, career, ministry, family, marriage, etc, was given birth to by men that followed a particular pathway.

And another truth is that if you follow the same path that these men followed, you will get the same results these men got (or are getting).

So what is the heartbeat of Apostle Joshua Selman? What does he emphasize most in his messages? What does he do that gives him the kind of result he has? If that is your quest, then you are in the right place. I will try to briefly capture what I believe is the heartbeat of Apostle Joshua Selman. So let’s roll:

GOD’S PRESENCE

If you have listened to Apostle Joshua Selman for quite some time, you will readily agree that he lays a strong emphasis on men carrying the fragrance of God’s Presence/Glory and communicating the same to the world. This is central to every result any man can get in this life.

Under this emphasis, Apostle Joshua Selman usually diversifies into several bits on how to host God’s Presence, and this includes:

1. Death

Here, Apostle Selman emphasizes that beyond fasting, prayer, and every other spiritual activity you can think of, that it takes DEATH to host God’s presence. Men that desire to carry God in their generation must DIE to self, to their own ambitions, to their flesh, etc.

2. God’s Word

Here, Apostle Selman emphasizes the ministry of the Word and the Spirit. God’s Word (as found in the Scripture) defines the boundaries of our spiritual experiences as guided by the Spirit of God.

Through the Word we receive our transformation by the Spirit. Any man that neglects God’s Word in his or her life should not expect to host the pure Presence of God.

3. Prayer

Here, Apostle Selman usually tells us that he is man of prayer. Beyond making requests in prayer, he emphasizes that for us to host God’s presence we must journey to the place of communion/fellowship in prayer.

This is the place where you simply come to God and have a deep fellowship (what he calls ‘Koinonia’ – the Greek word for fellowship), and out of this fellowship, you are plunge into different realities in God.
