Many prototypes have been designed since the early 20th century, using different flight technologies, like distributed propulsion. The PAL-V Liberty roadable aircraft targeted 2021 to become the first flying car but it seems City Hawk is taking over. Few details on this latest technology is however known as the Israeli company is yet to release full specification.
City hawk which was announced on Israel's official tweeter handle on 12th July, 2020 is a 9 passenger twin engine flying car designed and produced by Israeli company, Urban Aeronautics. The car will be used in cities and in emergency situations across the nation of Israel.
