Train Derails In Lagos

A section of a train returning from Ijoko in Lagos State to its base at Eb*tte Metta, Lagos on Wednesday derailed at Agege, in an incident said to have been caused by defective tracks.
As of 11am on Wednesday, the scene of the accident had been cordoned off by policemen from the Railway police.

Obasanjo exports cassava bread to Tanzania

Second Phase Cashless Policy To Begin In July – CBN

The second phase of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN’s cashless initiative will begin July 1, 2013, Deputy Governor, Operations, CBN, Mr. Tunde Lemo, confirmed at the weekend.
According to him, the planned extension of the cashless policy to five states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from July 1 still holds. The states to implement the cashless initiative include Rivers, Kano, Anambra, Ogun and Abia as well as the FCT.

Tears shed as Man Utd boss Ferguson broke news to staff, players in three separate meetings

LATEST NEWS ON JAMB ANALYSIS



 The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB said yesterday that only 10 candidates scored 300 marks and above in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, in the country even as some candidates printed customised shirts and T-shirts where anticipated answers were prepared to cheat during the examination.
JAMB Registrar, Professor, ‘Dibu Ojerinde who made this known in Abuja while addressing newsmen said that 40 centres were involved in cheating during the examination, where some candidates paid between N5,000 and N20,000 to be allowed to cheat.
