BREATH-TAKING
Its a moment of reflection on the pains that have help shape my ideology about life in it's entirety.
I've had the privilege to pass through a moment where I had to struggle to breath time after time. I thought that I will be leaving the Earth so early.
At the tender of eleven years, then I was in JSS 3, I've not met Christ then, I had struggles with secret Painful moments like Wetting the mat every night and Struggling to breath when trying to Sleep in the night.
I will wake my Dad up in the middle of the night. And say, Dad, I'm breathing fast. fast..
dad will respond: What happen What Happen..
It went on and on for days and the only thing that can be pointed out for such experience is that I take dust too much into my nostril. Looking deeper, I know their is more to that experience.
It was during that Period I later met Christ, it was an Holiday Period after our JSSCE Exams. I was a fan of confessing him as my Lord and savior every Sunday when a hot sermon by my aunty strike me during Sunday School classes. But then a moment came that my Aunt Opened my eyes to see the True essence of meeting Christ personally and from that day I Never had to come out or show up openly to confess Christ again.
I knew from that moment that I have Him dwelling in me. My Coming out continuously was out of ignorance.
I began to spend time listening more and knowing my New Found lover, Jesus Christ. Although I was still struggling with Secret sins like Beating up my siblings angrily and disobeying my parents order most Especially when it comes to Playing football. Smiles. I love the game of football.
I was able to overcome the struggle i had with breathing by boldly telling my new Found friend to help me. I knew I had nobody else that could help me out.
Our Pains have a way of drawing our attention and placing our Focus on who we believe can bring us out victorious and make us come out of it Strong.
After the Experience, I was hit by another painful experience when I got to Senior Class.
